It's not all that often we're treated to a real 90's 'supermodel' on the cover of Vogue nowadays. Claudia Schiffer fronts the April 2014 issue of Vogue Germany, photographed by Luigi Murenu and Daniele + Iango and wears Schiaparelli Haute Couture.
The Fashion Spot forums were quickly set alight when the cover was posted by Srdjan. There's no wonder the majority of members are in favor of this, because it's absolutely wonderful to see Schiffer on the cover of Vogue and looking better than ever.
"Oh my God!!! I'm in love with this cover .Finally a great cover from German Vogue so cool and modern! this magazine is getting better!" exclaimed bridgettetson
Starry wrote, "Always happy to see a supermodel like Claudia on the cover." Creative also agreed, writing, "Claudia! It's been such a long time since her latest Vogue cover. Glad she's back. She's eternal."
Nymphaea made a reference towards to evident gothic inspiration, "A bit too much The Addams Family for my taste. Always lovely to see Claudia on a cover." she wrote.
I couldn't agree more with these comments. It's a pleasure to read positive reactions to the cover of a fashion magazine. Personally, I don't notice a single negative element. Here's to hoping the accompanying story (if there actually is a one inside) is just as stunning!
