Anna Ewers Scores First Vogue Paris Cover by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (Forum Buzz)

It should come as no surprise that Anna Ewers has scored the cover of Vogue Paris. Most recently, she starred alongside Natasha Poly for the June/July issue, she was also photographed by Josh Olins back in October 2013 for the “Miss Vogue” section of the magazine, posed with Lara Stone and Amanda Wellsh for the March 2014 cover story by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and is now covering the August 2014 issue, which has also been lensed by the Turkish duo. Styled by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Emmanuelle Alt, the German model dons some transparent pieces by Miu Miu and shows off her semi-permanent platinum blond hair.

“I think it’s one of Vogue Paris‘ most dynamic and interesting covers in quite awhile. Anna looks incredible — so sultry and beyond her teen years,” commented AL92.

“Gorgeous! This will look so amazing in print, the colors are enticing. I pretty much love how brash this cover is, it will be either loved or hated by people!” shared an optimistic Miss Dalloway.

Nepenthes is also keen to see the cover on newsstands and wrote, “Yesss!!! So happy for Anna. She looks absolutely sensational! This cover is going to be such a standout on newsstands; the colors are amazing!”

It seems as though almost all of our forum members cannot wait to see the cover for themselves. “She looks super hot! Loving this cover from all the vibrant colors to how enticing it will be on newsstands. It definitely stands out and in a good way. Yay VP!” enthused JennaaMonroe.

“I can’t decide if I like it or not. The colours in real life will either look really good or really bad. I don’t like the styling but I am very happy for Anna to get the cover,” posted an undecided KateTheGreatest.

Gazebo wasn’t impressed, however: “I really don’t like it, it looks like a reprint. I feel like I’ve seen this image many times. It’s not fresh at all, the saturated hues look dated.”
