A cozy and comfortable-looking Lara Stone is Harper’s Bazaar Germany’s October 2014 cover star. The magazine tapped the Dutch beauty for its latest cover story and enlisted Kacper Kasprzyk to shoot the blond bombshell for both the front cover and for some stunning portraits, which can be found inside the issue (and of course, in our thread here). Stylist to the shoot, Jay Massacret, opted to showcase the model in a chunky knit sweater from Celine with her effortlessly coiffed locks cascading down one side of her face, making for a fabulous cover.
Our forum members are more than happy with the results. “Really, this is quite pretty. There’s a bit of post production work going on around her face, making it seem slightly ghoulish, but the overall image and color scheme are perfect. Looking forward to her ed!” commented Benn98.
“That’s almost what I like best about it – it’s a twist on the typical ‘blonde beauty’ because there’s something haunting about her face,” replied tigerrouge.
“That’s two for two for German Bazaar and I’m hoping they keep it up! It’s a beautiful portrait and they’re making the sweater look so comfortable and luxurious, and that’s the point, no?” wrote ash92.
“Lara can do no wrong. She looks so charming and beautiful!” added an elated Nepenthes.
“This is what I call [a] head shot perfect for [an] autumn cover,” proclaimed a satisfied GlamorousBoy.
